Veteran-Hiring.com is dedicated to helping veterans and transitioning service members access legitimate employment opportunities. We aim to maintain a trustworthy job search environment and take reports of fraudulent or misleading job postings seriously.
2. How Job Listings Appear on Veteran-Hiring.com
Veteran-Hiring.com aggregates publicly available job postings directly from reputable employers' Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and official career sites.
- We do not create job postings on behalf of employers
- We do not accept direct job submissions
- We do not scrape other job boards
- We do not alter the core content of employer postings
- All applications are completed on the employer's website
Because job content originates from third-party employer systems, Veteran-Hiring.com cannot guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of every listing. However, we take reasonable steps to feature legitimate employers.
3. Employer Vetting
Before displaying jobs from an employer, we perform basic vetting to confirm the employer appears legitimate.
We reserve the right to:
- Remove employers from our platform
- Stop indexing an employer's jobs
- Terminate inclusion without notice
If we suspect misuse, fraud, or non-responsiveness.
4. Reporting a Suspicious Job
If you believe a job posting is fraudulent, misleading, or suspicious, you can report it.
How to Report:
- Use the "Report this Job" link on the job posting page and fill out the form
- Enter your contact information if you wish to be informed about the review and resolution of our investigation
5. How We Handle Reports
When a report is received, we may:
- Review the job and its original source
- Verify whether the job appears on the employer's official site
- Temporarily or permanently remove the listing
- Stop displaying jobs from that employer
- Contact the employer for clarification
Veteran-Hiring.com reserves full discretion in determining appropriate action.
7. Record Retention
We retain copies of this policy and fraud reports/review outcomes for a minimum of three (3) years.
